If you love reading and crave some time away in a quiet space to dig into your TBR without distraction, this retreat is for you! Imagine a weekend where your only task is to relax and read, meals are prepared for you, and every detail is thoughtfully curated for maximum self-care. That's what you'll experience as a guest of our Valle Crucis Reading Retreat.

Hosted at a historic 1810s-era mountain inn, the accommodations blend rustic heritage with updated comfort for a charming and peaceful stay. A welcoming front porch, cozy parlor, scenic views, and luxury linens provide the ultimate Appalachian hospitality.

Whether you come solo or with a friend or two, you can choose whether to spend your reading time alone or in the company of others. We'll all gather together in the evenings for a family-style dinner and lively conversation, and there will be time for fun group activities and socializing. The weekend promises to be a perfect balance of calm and invigorating.

- Single and double occupancy rooms are available. If you do not see your preferred option available at registration, please let us know and we'll see what we can do.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. Full payment is due by April 1. Cancel prior to April 1 to receive a refund (minus the deposit).
